HBCD surveys of polystyrene insulation
HBCD is a flame retardant found in some older polystyrene insulation. We include it in building pollutant investigations where the materials and planned work justify doing so.
Define the materials concerned
Expanded or extruded polystyrene insulation is among the materials to examine during renovation or removal. Its appearance cannot confirm or rule out HBCD. Inspection, available documents and any necessary analyses are defined for your project.
Results to prepare the next steps
The report presents the materials examined, results and useful recommendations for their management. Sampling, analysis and disposal routes are specified according to the materials and worksite.
The next step
Your project deserves
a clear starting point.
Describe the building and what you are planning.
Documents can follow later.
We can communicate in French, German, English or Spanish.
