SENE requires a pollutant survey for alterations and demolition of buildings constructed before 1994. The report accompanies the permit application submitted to the municipality. The guidance requires a survey prepared according to the ASCA specifications by a person listed by FACH.
A report that goes beyond asbestos alone
The guidance also specifies the information required on PCBs, lead paints and other toxic substances. Depending on the work and pollutants present, remediation and waste management documents supplement the application.
Preparing a Neuchâtel application
- State the construction year and known alterations.
- Attach plans distinguishing retained areas from those affected by the work.
- Specify planned work on paints and the intended permit submission date.
